Hexham Train Support Facility (TSF)

Aurizon’s Hexham Train Support Facility (TSF) was built in 2014 at a capital cost of $186 million. Development of the facility has increased Aurizon’s Hunter Valley coal freight business and doubled capacity in the rail network

Engenicom was initially engaged to undertake the feasibility, scoping and the definition design for the concept location options and feasibility analysis. At the completion of feasibility and following provision of funding, Engenicom was retained to provide a higher level of detail for scoping design work, definition governance and procurement for the project. Engenicom provided full owner’s team representation for the duration of construction.
