Newcastle Light Rail
The Light Rail was part of the $650 million program to revitalise Newcastle’s city centre. Major construction of the light rail finished in late 2018, and services began operation in February 2019 with the key focus on the Urban Transformation, focusing on the city’s prestige waterfront, and delivering better transport connections for the community.
Engenicom was engaged to provide Project Management resources to Transport for NSW during project delivery. Our people oversaw and ensured the delivery and management of the Newcastle Light Rail Project with a strong focus on scope, quality, time, cost and operational readiness.
