



The Wickham Transport Interchange project was a key part of the Newcastle Urban Renewal Strategy, aimed at revitalising Hunter Street and improving connections between the city centre and the waterfront. The project involved truncating the heavy rail line, constructing a fully accessible transport interchange at Wickham, and building a new train stabling facility at Hamilton. It was also a key enabler for the subsequent construction of the Newcastle Light Rail.
Engenicom was engaged to provide a broad range of services on the Wickham Transport Interchange project, supporting Transport for NSW in project management and commercial and engineering capacities.
